As the title suggests, the purpose of this blog is to follow and discuss legal developments.  But the goal is to discuss and break down these sometimes opaque legal issues in a clear and simple way so that they are accessible and easily understood.

It is not always apparent, but law and life intersect in fundamental ways.  From high profile constitutional issues, to less visible (if not less important) decisions such as the right to access the courts, changes in the law impact our rights and relationships.  These changes are often for the better, but not always.

This blog will record some of my observations and analysis of developments in the law and how those developments shape our lives. It is my hope that by analyzing developments in the law in a clear way, we can pull the curtain back on complex legal opinons and better understand how the law is changing and how it will impact our lives.
